Marigold is committed to providing care in a manner that respects each client’s dignity, preferences, independence, cultural background, and individual needs.
Clients receiving home care services have the right to participate in service planning and to receive services with reasonable accommodation of individual needs and preferences, subject to applicable safety requirements.
Marigold does not segregate, restrict, deny, or provide a different level of care to an individual because of a protected characteristic.
Disability Access and Reasonable Accommodation
Marigold is committed to providing appropriate access for individuals with disabilities.
Where required by law, Marigold will provide reasonable accommodations and appropriate auxiliary aids or services to support effective communication and meaningful access to services.

Client and Family Conduct
Marigold is committed to maintaining a respectful environment for clients and employees.
Clients, family members, representatives, and visitors are expected to treat Marigold employees and caregivers with dignity and respect.
Marigold does not support requests to select, reject, or remove a caregiver solely because of the caregiver’s race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex, age, disability, or another characteristic protected by law.
Caregiver assignments may be reviewed when legitimate care, safety, scheduling, competency, communication, or compatibility concerns exist.
No Retaliation
Marigold prohibits retaliation against any individual who, in good faith:
- Raises a discrimination concern;
- Requests an accommodation;
- Reports conduct believed to violate this policy;
- Participates in an investigation;
- Exercises a protected civil right; or
- Supports another individual in raising a concern.
Concerns will be reviewed as appropriate and in accordance with Marigold policies and applicable law.
Reporting a Concern
Anyone who believes they have experienced or witnessed discrimination involving Marigold is encouraged to report the concern promptly.
